Beltaine Release!

Beltaine is now available at Smashwords, and Kindle!

Beltaine is also known as Baal Tinne, Beltane, Bel’s Fire, Cet Samhain, Mayday, Tana Festiva, or Walpurgisnacht, and is generally celebrated on or about the first of May.

In many cultures, Beltaine celebrates the beginning of the growing season with the plowing and planting of fields. Fertile ground accepting the seed of new life; the coming together and mating of Mother Earth and Father Sun, resulting in the conception of the young god, the cycle having come full course.

Check it out at Smashwords or Kindle.

The password for the activities file is with the ebook. There is a bonus craft item in the activities download, that isn’t in the book so even if you can print from the ebook itself, don’t miss out by skipping the download!

If you’d like to win a copy, find the Beltaine tweet from @bychwych and simply re-tweet. Friday I’ll pick a winner and contact via twitter post.

Regarding the Chapbooks

Recently, it came to my attention that most people can not print out the included activities from several hand-held ebook readers. This goes against what I was assured when I was researching the possibilities of electronic publication… and kind of angers me, as even priced at $0.99, folks want what they’re paying for.

In light of this, I’m now offering a downloads page as a place to pick up the activities (which may sometimes include the crafts and/or stories as well) in a printer-friendly format.

If you have purchased any of the Sabbat chapbooks so far (Yule, Imbolc and Ostara) please send your electronic receipt via the contact form, and I’ll send the password to the downloads page to you.

I apologize for any and all inconvenience this bungle has caused, and for future reference, all chapbooks will come with a password for the corresponding pages.

Beltaine Suggestions

Hi folks!

So, we’ve released three Sabbat handbooks officially, and Litha unofficially (although it’s official version is fast approaching!), and now we’d like to hear from the readers on what they’d like to see in future.

More activities? Less activities and more info? More crafts, less recipes or vice-versa?

Comment below; comments are held to moderate for spam and the occasional non-pagan unfriendly, so if you’d rather it not be public just mention that and I can keep it private.

Thanks!
