Regarding the Chapbooks
Posted by Morrighan on March 3, 2012 at 7:11 pm | Last modified: March 3, 2012 7:11 pmRecently, it came to my attention that most people can not print out the included activities from several hand-held ebook readers. This goes against what I was assured when I was researching the possibilities of electronic publication… and kind of angers me, as even priced at $0.99, folks want what they’re paying for.
In light of this, I’m now offering a downloads page as a place to pick up the activities (which may sometimes include the crafts and/or stories as well) in a printer-friendly format.
If you have purchased any of the Sabbat chapbooks so far (Yule, Imbolc and Ostara) please send your electronic receipt via the contact form, and I’ll send the password to the downloads page to you.
I apologize for any and all inconvenience this bungle has caused, and for future reference, all chapbooks will come with a password for the corresponding pages.

Checking in for week whichwhat? 7? 8? Gah, I’ve lost track, and I posted last week as 8, when it was actually 7. Which would make this week 8.
I should have numbered the calendar! I’ve made the change in the previous post.
Week 7: Absolutely no change in anything (measurements or weight) this week. I have been drinking more water and about five of the dozen Dole Sparklers. I had portion control issues all week, so I am glad that nothing has changed, because it could have been real bad.
Moving forward into week 8: the main challenge for this week (as I interpreted it) is not to worry about our numbers as much. The inches, the pounds, the minutia. How do we make our goals quantifiable without resorting to the numbers?
Easy! I want to be alive to see my grandchildren. I want to be able to walk, to do things on my own, in five, ten, fifteen years.
I don’t want to be my mother.
Vanity-wise, I have a pair of jeans I’d like to fit, and a shirt I’d like to wear even just once more. Just to wear those clothes even for a day before I finally let them go (they’re a tad threadbare!). Those are my end-goals, sans numbers.
To get there:
- Continue with water
- Exercise! Draco and I need to sit down and define our needs here, as we’re supposed to be a sort of team for the challenge.
- Though I have given up with the food diary, I am going to continue to find low-fat, low-sodium, low-cal meals that are tasty. Particularly if it’ll involve the slow-cooker.
- I’ve found a special treat as a reward for ‘good behaviour’. A new recipe for fried chicken, that I actually fried. If I’ve stuck to my plan for the entire month of March, I will do this up for April Fools Day.
I know, that last one was really not a responsible choice for someone trying to eat healthier and get fit… but better have one or two bad choices over a span of time, than constant bad choices all of the time. Once I’ve nailed the recipe to my personal liking (I’ve been tweaking) I’ll post it up.
Until next week – good luck! <|:^)

Posted by Morrighan on February 22, 2012 at 12:00 pm | Last modified: February 20, 2012 6:15 pmHi folks!
So, we’ve released three Sabbat handbooks officially, and Litha unofficially (although it’s official version is fast approaching!), and now we’d like to hear from the readers on what they’d like to see in future.
More activities? Less activities and more info? More crafts, less recipes or vice-versa?
Comment below; comments are held to moderate for spam and the occasional non-pagan unfriendly, so if you’d rather it not be public just mention that and I can keep it private.
Thanks!
