Snow Moon, Snow What? Snow Everywhere….

Snow Moon doesn’t necessarily have to mean blizzard does it? I can’t even fathom how many inches of snow has fallen in the last 24 hours, and we’ve got at least another 24 hours of it coming up.

School is closed today, as if a four-day weekend wasn’t bad enough.

At least some of the work I’ve been doing, studying Gwyddonics has begun to show some progress (and I’m going straight back to the beginning without passing GO. I need the refreshers). I’ve managed to clear out a lot of crap from my house, most of it leftovers from “the marriage” that I could have tossed three years ago. Or left behind..LOL. I bought a bed for either $3 or $5 at my grandparent’s estate auction; between Dobhailen and I, we got the two other mattresses out of my room (older than me, one of them..*shudder*) left the old boxspring where it was, and trudged half-way up the stairs with the new one.

And then it got stuck.

CareBear ran up the street to fetch Mort, who came over and I swear to gods he was laughing at us. Anyway, the guys got it up and through and without too much damage to the boxspring or the stairwell. Good on them, says I, since I was starting to think I’d have to turn the living room into my bedroom..LOL

Later, Dobh and I got the new mattress up there; now all I need to do is get the rest of the hold-over crap out of my house, and cleanse it thoroughly.

Dobh’s got possession of his house this coming Friday, so there’s going to be all kinds of activity around here…between getting it ready to move into, moving him into it, and somehow getting to a NaNo write-in and the Goblet of Fire movie…PLUS getting in at least 5000 words, I do believe chaos will come to visit.
