Lughnasadh is here… Happy Litha!
Posted by Morrighan on June 21, 2013 at 7:15 pm | Last modified: June 21, 2013 7:00 pmConfused yet? I am… but I’m happy to say that we’ve finished tweaking and testing and fiddling with Lughnasadh, and it’s now available on Smashwords, Etsy and soon it’ll be up on Amazon for the Kindle. Probably within another week or so, it’ll start popping up through other retailers as well.

Lughnasadh, also known as Hlaf-mass (Loaf-mass), August Eve, Tailltean Games, Lammas, and Harvest Home, is named for the Celtic God of fire and sun, Lugh.It is the beginning of the end of summer, of the growing season, and marks the first harvest of grain, garden and orchard. It is one of the cross-quarter festivals, a Great Fire festival, where bonfires are lit to give strength to the aging sun.
Beltaine Suggestions
Posted by Morrighan on February 22, 2012 at 12:00 pm | Last modified: February 20, 2012 6:15 pmHi folks!
So, we’ve released three Sabbat handbooks officially, and Litha unofficially (although it’s official version is fast approaching!), and now we’d like to hear from the readers on what they’d like to see in future.
More activities? Less activities and more info? More crafts, less recipes or vice-versa?
Comment below; comments are held to moderate for spam and the occasional non-pagan unfriendly, so if you’d rather it not be public just mention that and I can keep it private.
Thanks!

Posted by Morrighan on April 24, 2009 at 5:57 am | Last modified: April 24, 2009 7:59 amThe girls and I picked up the supplies for the chapbooks yesterday, along with the first printings of the covers for Litha and Lughnasadh. They look great! I can’t wait to get started…
Each chapbook will have Sabbat information, sample ritual, activity suggestions for kids, sample menu with recipes, crafts, youth-centered fiction and paper activities (coloring, picture search, etc.).
These two releases are our market test – should they go well, we may be submitting to a handful of publishers with the full chapbook series.
