The Dark Goddess speaks to us, through the mouths of Lilith, Kali, Tiamet, Hekate, Nix, the Black Madonna, Nemesis and Morgaine.

I am the Darkness behind and beneath the shadows.
I am the absence of air that awaits at the bottom of every breath.
I am the Ending before Life begins again, the Decay that fertilizes the Living.
I am the Bottomless Pit, the never-ending struggle to reclaim that which is denied.
I am the Key that unlocks every Door.
I am the Glory of Discovery, for I am that which is hidden, secluded and forbidden

Come to me at the Dark Moon –
see that which can not be seen, face the terror that is yours alone.
Swim to me through the blackest oceans to the center of your greatest fears–
the Dark God and I will keep you safe.
Scream to us in terror, and yours will be the Power to Forbear.
Think of me when you feel pleasure, and I will intensify it, until the time when I may have the greatest pleasure of meeting you at the Crossroads Between the Worlds.

I am the Sower, and I am the Reaper, and I am the corn.
I am the Dancer, and I am the Dancing, and I am the Dance.
I am the Life, and I am the Death, and I am the Dying.
My Power is yours, given free in your hands, to fulfill you or destroy you let you guide it with Love.
And I have shaped the face of all that Lives.
I am the Light which bids the Earth to Dance, and I give you to know of all you see, and I am the fire of Life within your breast..
I have sown the seeds of all that Live, and given each the time to have their life.
And I swing the scythe which reaps all things.
So bravely stand, and dance your dance with me, and use your Will and Courage to be free.
Protect the things you Love to Honor me, and never in submission bend your knee.
Give portions to the tame, and to the wild.
And always guard the Mother, and the Child.
Deal fair with what’s below, and what’s above,
And celebrate the Dance, and learn to Love.

I am the robe about the world, and you and all that live are my robe.
I am the mystery of all mysteries who dwells within you, to be known to you who love enough to see.
And all who wear my flesh can have my power, and know my wisdom, for it is love, and love is what you give of what you have.
I am the love you give to Children, in taking care of them you become me.
