2 cups butter
1 cup icing sugar
1 cup cornstarch
2 cups flour
DIRECTIONS:
Mix to form stiff dough. Roll out on flat surface until about 1/3 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes (we almost always have “moons” and “stars”) and bake at 300F (150C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until starting to turn golden.

Posted by Morrighan on at 11:39 pm | Last modified: January 1, 2000 11:39 pmMake sandwiches as usual, and use cookie cutters to cut out the centers, making shaped sandwiches. If you are feeling really creative, use a wide mouthed cup to cut out circles, and then use it again to cut the circle into a half moon/crescent shape. Place on plate to represent the Goddess …one circle with crescent on either side, or the God…one circle with a crescent over top.
To create spiral sandwiches, cut the crusts from white bread, flatten the slices slightly. Spread peanut butter, cheez whiz, or other spread thinly, then layer meat or veggies, and carefully roll the slice into a roll. Cut into four pieces, and lay on their sides. Spirals!
